January 28, 2022

Congratulations to our 2021 Core Community Challenge Champion, Will Russell.

Even in a huge year – promotion to vice president and partner, growing client base, and a new baby at home, Will dedicated more than 120 hours of his time community service.

Instilled in him from a young age, Will views giving back as an integral part of his life. He takes great pride in lending his time and resources to support and serve on various boards, commissions, and philanthropic endeavors. In 2021, Will held several board positions, including:

Through the Core Community Challenge, our team members can earn grants for the philanthropies of their choice by volunteering.
In the second year of our corporate volunteerism program, our team collectively served more than 270 hours. Through the program, Will earned a $500 grant based on the hours he volunteered, which he donated to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD). Other team members also earned grants of varying amounts, which were donated to Roc Solid Foundation and Special Olympics Virginia.

Our sincere congratulations and thanks to Will, who continues to inspire us and demonstrate what servant leadership looks like.
